RETHINKING HOMELESSNESS | FOSTERING PARTNERSHIPS

Homelessness Learning Forum is an annual event spearheaded by New Hope Community Services.
Since 2019, this annual forum aims to create a space where social service professionals, partners, and interested persons can learn about the homeless community in Singapore.
This year's forum is co-organised with the Singapore Association of Social Workers (SASW) with the theme, "Rethinking Homelessness — Fostering Partnerships". In our years of experience working with the homeless, we have seen how our clients have been affected by prevailing stereotypes and labels.
Our challenge as a community is to destabilise what we think we know in order to improve on practices and sharpen our understanding of this marginalised community.
Can we look beyond the labels and see the inherent dignity and worth in these people?
