Shelter for Rough-Sleepers

Transit Point @ Margaret Drive (TP@MD) is an interim shelter with 24/7 admission, which aims to provide immediate safe accommodation for rough sleepers; and enable rough sleepers to achieve long-term stable housing and equip them for independent living. NHCS started the operations in March 2020 without any funding from the government and served to address the critical social needs during the COVID-19 pandemic serving the rough sleeping individuals including stranded Malaysian and Singapore PRs affected by the pandemic. Currently, the shelter can provide 70 individuals with holistic care such as meals, life-skills training, counselling, medical, case management at this programme.
