Pre-HLF Learning Journeys
Embark on a learning journey on 17-19 August 2023 before the main forum and gain firsthand insights from practitioners and individuals with lived experiences of homelessness. Explore sites serving the homeless in Singapore, including Safe, Sounds Sleeping Places (S3Ps) and Interim Shelters/Transitional Shelters.

ANG MO KIO BETHLEHEM SHELTER
To educate participants on how existing shelter types In Singapore are helping our Rough Sleepers to transition back to long-term residential arrangements. Participants who attend will get to gleen insights to the realities of the S3P, at the newly renovated Bethlehem Shelter, whilst also hearing from ground staff and some success stories of clients who had stayed in the shelter.
S3P: Y10 CHU KANG CHAPEL
Knowing the People: Get to know who are the homeless and rough sleepers in Singapore. Hear true life stories from our stayers. Know the reasons for their homelessness and understand the daily challenges they face. Consider how we can help them to overcome some of these challenges.
Knowing the S3P: What does it take to become a S3P operator? You will be surprised that It Is actually not so difficult. Get to hear the genesis of S3P@Yio Chu Kang Chapel. Know how you can be a S3P or partner a S3P to serve the homeless and rough sleepers.
INTERIM SHELTER: TRANSIT POINT @ MARGARET DRIVE
Catch a glimpse into one of the interim shelters in Singapore. TP©MD serves homeless clients with complex housing barriers. This could include clients who have already rough slept for a long period of time (decades even), and clients with complex housing barriers. Curious to find out who these clients are and about the work that is being done? Join or in the learning!

Join us for the main event, the Homelessness Learning Forum. Engage in thought-provoking discussions, interactive workshops, and panel sessions led by experts and practidoners in the field. Together, we will explore innovative approaches, share best practices, and co-create solutions to improve the shelter system and prevent homelessness in Singapore.
